Collector books:
A tangible visual record

Personal collections of art or collectibles are especially rewarding when they appear in book form. A book is a series of sequential planes. Turning page by page the book showcases:

  • works of art in various media,
  • cultural pieces, or
  • a collector's assorted objects.

The collection is important to you and it’s equally important to instill a love and respect for what you’ve collected.

  • Fostering a lasting love and respect for your collection

It takes talent to select individual works of art or collectibles and then assemble these objects into a distinct personal collection. The best collections show a sense of direction, complexity, conscious refinement, and satisfaction. In a superior collection, nothing seems random or arbitrary; every piece seems to belong and fit together.

    • The book form adds a unique perspective for appreciating and understanding your collection and its stories.
    • A book about your collection allows you to share your collection with people who would not otherwise be able to see it.
    • The book narrative can lend a historical description that documents a particular stage in the development of the collection and the collector’s meaningful experiences, or serve as a catalogue of the collection.
    • A collector book provides a tangible lasting record of your special collection that you and your family and friends can appreciate for years to come.
  • Artist books: Selected works or a complete retrospective

An artist book can present the works of established artists and emerging artists. What is often called a “coffee-table book” for its engaging visuals and size, a well-produced book helps promote and celebrate artistic talent and creativity, and becomes tangible proof of what has been achieved.
